The Centre provides a number of regular activities as well as a variety of educational classes each term

The Centre provides a number of special events throughout the year e.g. Kid’s Market, One-off speakers, Community Fun Days.

 

Regular Activities:

Mondays: Mahjong; Playgroup
Tuesdays: Shoppers Bus; Pre-school Sing a long; Play Group; Book Club
Wednesdays: Chatter Patchers; Scrabble Club
Thursdays: Pre-school Sing a long; Diabetes Support; AA
Fridays: Seniors Bus Trips
Classes include: Guitar; Yoga; ESOL; French; Italian; Pilates; Art; Kids Drama new classes are introduced regularly.

We also offer photocopying, laminating & document binding. We have available for hire kids tables & chairs and a marquee.

Seniors

Seniors Trips and Outings
The last Friday of each month, meet at the Centre 9:15am, sit back and relax, let someone else do the driving, stop for morning tea and then enjoy a leisurely lunch out. Return to the centre by about 2:30pm. Venues vary each month. Cost includes lunch unless stated. Contact us for the latest programme.

Shoppers Bus
Do you live in the Meadowbank area and are you a Senior Citizen? Why not join us on our fortnightly shoppers bus. The Centre’s bus will pick you up at your home, bring you up to the shopping centre and our friendly volunteers will help with your shopping if you need it or just be there to help load your shopping back on to the bus. We will then drop you back at your home where the volunteers will carry your shopping to your door. Alternative Tuesdays. Contact us for more information.

How to Drug proof Your Kids
This is a one off session to be held Tuesday 24 February at Meadowbank Community Centre.
How to Drug Proof Your Kids aims to equip parents with guidelines to protect and nurture children in today’s culture. Including keys, tips and techniques to help steer children away from the harmful use of drugs.

$5 donation payable to the centre, this donation includes$1 administration costs to the centre and the balance to focus on the Family.
